Last week friday I received news that my musical mentor and dear friend had passed away. His family asked me to do an eulogy. Having delivered it this afternoon, I decided I wanted to let the world know about the man that had shaped me into some semblance of a musician.
My sincere apologies for being so quiet. Things have been really busy my side and some really exciting developments are under way. So here it is, a long over due update.

Often we strive for perfection and give little thought to the untold pressure it places on us. This pressure has a significantly adverse effect on our creative ability.
What an incredible day! I forgot how much fun it is to be in the studio, collaborating and building something. Starting with with the raw sound and piecing everything together.
So the recording preparation is well under way. The third track titled Rock It Man is finished in terms of getting the rhythm section into Guitar Pro 6.
Sometimes we do silly things, sometimes we do smart things but it seems the major difference is knowing when to listen to your head and when to listen to your heart. When we listen to the wrong one, it often turns out that we are over analytical when we should be creative or we are creative when we should be analytical.
Preparation for the first record session on the 27th September 2014 is well under way. The lead section has been completed now as well and everything is set for the first session in the studio.

After discussions and past experience I will be recording the album at B-Sharp Studios.
"No place (I'd rather be)" hit 1000 plays today on SoundCloud. This is the first time any of the tracks has received this much attention and I cannot believe the response. While it might still be short on a best seller it does leave me feeling very satisfied that the track was worth the effort. Thank you all so much!
