I never considered the possibility of recording a solo album. It was just never something that crossed my mind. I figured that putting them up on SoundCloud would be the final resting place for all the tracks I recorded in my little home studio. I never thought that people would want an album they could take with them, so you can imagine my surprise when the requests start coming in. Only then did something inside me start wondering about actually doing it.
So I picked up the phone and started calling a few people. Getting quotes on rates and trying to find a producer and session drummer to fill the gaps and help create a highly refined product.
So now that I have started reaching out, a few studios have been short listed and the other people I need have also been short listed. While I would love to just jump into the studio and stop everything for a month to complete this project, it just isn't a reality. Bills to pay, responsibilities to take care of and not wanting to miss a moment with my family make this a long term project. I am setting up a schedule that should allow me to complete this project in around 6 months and I will keep everyone posted regarding the progress.
So this little adventure has got me nervous and excited at the same time. I am really looking forward to working with some fantastic folk and then, of course, delivering a beautiful product to you, my loyal fans. So I pray that the Lord will guide my heart and hands, blessing the work I do. Keep your eyes peeled for further info!

My initial project has finally launched the album. Pretty excited about it all, finally, there is a line in the sand
Last week friday I received news that my musical mentor and dear friend had passed away. His family asked me to do an eulogy. Having delivered it this afternoon, I decided I wanted to let the world know about the man that had shaped me into some semblance of a musician.
My sincere apologies for being so quiet. Things have been really busy my side and some really exciting developments are under way. So here it is, a long over due update.
Loads of fun and games in the last studio session!
Often we strive for perfection and give little thought to the untold pressure it places on us. This pressure has a significantly adverse effect on our creative ability.
